A three-layer laminate — outer Kraft, PET film core, outer Kraft. No adhesive: the tag is fixed mechanically to the part. Three models depending on the real process temperature: up to 200 °C for the 842, up to 320 °C for the 800 and up to 350 °C for the 874. The only material in the catalogue that combines thermal resistance and resistance to hydrochloric acid.

Choose the model based on the real process temperature. KPK 842: up to 200 °C, 180 µm thickness. KPK 800: up to 320 °C, 210 µm. KPK 874: up to 350 °C, 240 µm. Same construction in all three.
No adhesive — direct mechanical fixing to the part
The tag is fixed with wire, clip, stud, hook or insertion. The mechanical fixing does not give way under heat or acid. Available on rolls (max. width 1,000 mm) and as custom labels, fan-folded or individual.
Chemical resistance to HCl 25–30%
Withstands the hydrochloric acid pickling common on galvanising and surface-treatment lines. The tag keeps its legibility after the acid bath.
TTR printing + Lit-Off ribbon / ask us
Compatible with thermal transfer (wax-resin and resin ribbon) and with laser. If you need a compatible ribbon, ask us — we supply that too.
200/320/350 °C is for exposure of up to 10 minutes, not continuous service temperature. No adhesive: the tag is fixed mechanically to the part. Validate the real process temperature with a sample before starting production.
Why this material
Why Kraft/PET/Kraft solves what no self-adhesive label can in metalworking
The problem: adhesives that fail where it matters
In metalworking and galvanising, the part passes through the oven and the acid bath. Most conventional adhesives do not survive these conditions: heat chars them or HCl dissolves them. The result is an unidentified part in the middle of the process — line stoppage, lost traceability, rework.
KPK carries no adhesive. It is fixed mechanically and withstands both attacks.
Three models for three temperature ranges
Not every process reaches 350 °C. The KPK 842 covers processes up to 200 °C (paint and curing), the KPK 800 reaches 320 °C (intermediate treatments and pickling) and the KPK 874 handles the 350 °C of the most demanding metalworking processes. The Kraft/PET/Kraft construction, mechanical strength and chemical resistance are identical across all three.

Key advantage
350 °C + HCl 25–30%
Most high-temperature materials resist either heat or acid — KPK resists both. It withstands peaks of up to 350 °C and the 25–30% hydrochloric acid pickling common on galvanising lines. An unusual combination in labelling materials, decisive when the process runs through both the oven and the acid bath on the same line.
Thermal resistance for short exposures (max. 10 min). For processes with conditions outside these ranges, consult our technical team.

Peaks of up to 350 °C in 10-minute exposures. The KPK range's highest-temperature model, for the most demanding metalworking processes.
Cross-direction tensile strength

The PET film core provides high mechanical strength. The tag keeps its shape and legibility during in-line handling, without breaking or warping.

HCl 25–30%
Withstands 25–30% hydrochloric acid pickling, common on galvanising lines. Identification stays legible after the acid bath.
