Up to 500 °C for short exposure (Type 151)
The catalogue's thermal ceiling. Type 150 reaches 450 °C, Type 151 reaches 500 °C. For hot-dip galvanising, steelworks and industrial heat treatment.
Two variants depending on the process
Type 150: 145 µm, 1 printable face (front). Type 151: 160 µm, 2 printable faces. Choose based on temperature and whether you need to print on both faces.
No adhesive — non-self-adhesive tag
Fixed mechanically to the part (tying, clip, insertion). Printable by thermal transfer with wax-resin or resin ribbon. If you need a compatible ribbon, tell us the type — we supply that too.
Available on roll and custom-made
Maximum width 500 mm on roll. Also available as custom-sized labels according to the tag you need.
450/500 °C is for short exposure, not continuous service temperature. Always validate with a sample under your real process conditions before starting production.
Why this material
Why polyimide is the right material for identification in extreme high-temperature processes
The problem with other materials at high temperature
Polypropylene starts to deform at around 130 °C. Polyester goes a bit further, but above 200–250 °C standard labelling films stop being viable. Polyimide has a molecular structure that lets it withstand peaks of 450–500 °C without degrading — hence its established use in electronics, aerospace and industrial heat treatment.
Tag, not label: the difference matters
This material is a tag — it carries no adhesive. It's fixed to the part mechanically (tied with metal wire, clip, insertion into a slot or hole) and printed before entering the oven. Its job is to identify the part during the thermal process, not to stay on it permanently. Always validate the fixing method under your real conditions.
The resistance values are typical manufacturer data for short-duration exposure. Verify with a sample before starting production.

Type 151 resistance

Maximum temperature for short-duration exposure. The catalogue's thermal ceiling. For electrostatic paint ovens, galvanising and heat treatment of metal parts.
Type 150 resistance
450 °C
The single printable-face, thinner variant (145 µm). Sufficient for most common heat-treatment processes. Lighter and more economical than the Type 151.

500 mm
Available on roll up to 500 mm wide and also as custom labels. Ask about the format that best fits your printing and fixing process.

How it's built
Type 150 (145 µm): 2 functional layers. Type 151 (160 µm): 3 functional layers. No adhesive in either variant.
