A label made of white polypropylene film, matt on both sides, with no cellulose. It is also called synthetic paper because it looks and prints like paper, but it is plastic. It does not fall apart in water, so it is suitable for outdoor use and damp environments. It prints on your thermal transfer printer, and we can supply it already preprinted with your logo. It is used as is as a hang tag or as a card, in five thicknesses from 100 to 250 µm.

How to choose well
This material versus other no-adhesive options
Compared with card or paper, polypropylene synthetic paper does not absorb water: the label keeps its shape and its print when it gets wet. It is the option when the hang tag will spend time in the yard, in a nursery or in transit.
Compared with the polyethylene of Ref. 747 and 749: both are printed by thermal transfer and have no adhesive. Polyethylene stands out for its tear resistance and is certified for direct food contact; the synthetic paper offers a matt paper finish on both sides and thicknesses up to 250 µm.
If the label is laser-printed or the part goes through a curing oven, the option is the polyester of Ref. 748.

What you should know
Ref. 746 is supplied with no adhesive. It is used directly as a hang tag, fixed with a hook, cable tie or wire, or as a card.
Choose the thickness according to size and use: the thin ones, from 100 to 150 µm, are suitable for small labels and cards; the 200 and 250 µm ones give more body to large labels or ones hung outdoors.
Before starting production, validate the print and the ribbon with a sample on your printer. Ask us for one with no obligation.
Frequently asked questions before production
Can it be laser-printed?
Its technical data sheet does not state it. To laser-print hang tags, the option is the polyester of Ref. 748.
Which ribbon do I need?
Tell us your printer and what the label is used for, and we will recommend the ribbon. We supply that too.
Can it be printed on both sides?
Both sides have the same matt finish. If you also need to print on the back, validate it with a sample on your printer.
