Body colours
A choice of body colours: red, yellow, blue, dark blue, green, orange, purple, brown, black, white and grey.
Padlock anatomy
Shackle: steel shackle; insulating shackle; stainless steel shackle; cable shackle.
Body: square-edged plastic body; rounded-edge plastic body; ribbed plastic body; patented-design body.
Rewritable warning labels.
Danger label: the language can be customised.
Key retention: the key cannot be removed while the shackle is open.
Non-conductive cylinder: safer operation, as it prevents electricity passing from the shackle to the key.
- Reinforced nylon body that gives the padlock strength and does not deform easily. Both the steel-shackle and the non-conductive-shackle padlock withstand temperatures from −20 °C to +120 °C.

Master key system
System diagram: keyed different (KD); keyed alike (KA), group 1 and group 2; master key + keyed different (KDMK); master key + keyed alike (KAMK); grand master key (GMK).
- Keyed different (KD): each padlock has a different key; 1 key is supplied per padlock. Up to 50,000 individual combinations available.
- Keyed alike (KA): all padlocks in the same group share a key; 1 key opens every padlock in the group.
- Master key + keyed different (KDMK): each padlock has a different key, with 1 key per padlock. A master key also opens all of those padlocks.
- Master key + keyed alike (KAMK): all padlocks in the same group share a key. A master key also opens all keyed-alike groups.
- Grand master key (GMK): each padlock in a group has a different key. A grand master key opens all KDMK groups.
Combination records
It is important that every employee at a facility has a unique padlock key, so that duplicate keys do not compromise the lockout programme. On request, different combinations and numbering are used for each order. In addition, the combination of each key is recorded, so identical keys can be replaced whenever needed.
